Site Update:
A small Christmas present, the first two parts of "The Final Prophecy". It is the Jake Sisko focused short story I started in August. Part of the extended work time was the fact that what I had envisioned as a <5,000 word story story wouldn't keep to that and is now three times what I planned it to be. As I mentioned before it is very thinly connected to Star Trek: Swiftfire.
The image next to it in the story listing is grey because it is a temporary image. I'll look towards putting together something else as soon as I can.
Writing Update:
"Bodyguards of Lies" is still a work in progress. It has grown far larger than I anticipated and that is slowing things down as well. NaNoWriMo helped, as it did with "To Delight in the Inhuman Word", but that took me until February until I uploaded it...I wouldn't be surprised if "Bodyguards..." takes a similar timetable.

It's NaNoWriMo again and I'll be taking part in it for a second time. Last year it really helped me get through "To Delight in the Inhuman Word" and I'm hoping that it will help me this year as well.

Site Update:
Not a site update for here but I thought I'd still mention it, I've put the Star Trek: Unity crossover site back online. The site was not originally done by me and was created by the person who organised the crossover. Unfortunately he has moved on and the site disappeared from the net last year (also the author's site to his original fan fiction is also gone which is a shame as well). I guess it's just the nature of the next that these things happen, but what I've done will hopefully delay the crossover disappearing completely for just a bit longer.

Site Update:
The site has now official moved to its new domain!
It has taken me 2 years from when I first thought about going to my own domain but I finally did it. The move was really inspired by the fact in the last 3 to 4 months my old free host had my site offline more than it was online. I got over the pattern of a couple of months of good uptime then significant down time, another couple of months of good uptime, then significant down time, etc. I guess I can't really complain all that much given it was free, but now I'll decided that I'd like some stability so I moved.
To celebrate the move I've put up Part 5 of "There's No Angels Here" and also added a second drabble called "Crisis of Faith", this time it focuses on Jasis.
I also found an old rewrite commentary for "No Rest for the Wicked" which I never linked up, so I've now added a link to it so others can read it.
Writing Update:
I have really hit a wall with "Bodyguard of Lies", which is the next episode. Trying to hammer through it. To help I've started a short story that will focus on an adult Jake Sisko that will be only thinly linked to Swiftfire but I'm hoping a bit of a change in scenery will get me through (or around) the wall blocking me with "Bodyguard of Lies".

Site Update:
I've added a drabble called "Resolutions". It is the first drabble I've ever done and they are quite difficult. I think I got the point across, but it is hard to tell since I obviously know what I'm trying to do and the point of it.
I should also point out that on Friday the site will be moving to a new server, which means a new address. Once it is all set up this site (x10hosting site) will be cut down to the index and the "home page", which will point you to the new site. I'll probably keep those pages online for at least a month before I close down this site for good. That day again is Friday the 13th...great, I really should have checked the calendar before hand.

Server has been down most of this month and I only have just got back my access to the site. Annoying that I've had two months in a row of server crap but if you using a free service you have to put up with this kind of stuff.

Site Update:
My host moved my site to a new server, which was why it was down. It also seems that they deleted my site/lost it in the process so I'm re-uploading it. It couldn't come at a worse time as I'm in the process of moving at the moment, which means I'll be without the net until I get all my services set up at the new address and tel-cos can take their sweet time getting things down. Hopefully it will be back up and to where it was before the move.
Also you might want to bookmark the Star Trek: Swiftfire Wiki. If the site goes down and I can't put up why here I'll use that site to put up news.

It has been two months since my last update. I've added Part 4 of "There's No Angels Here". Nothing else to report in terms of site updates.
Writing Update:
Still working on the next episode "Bodyguard of Lies". I was hoping to have it done this month but after a lean March in terms of writing I'm now hoping to have it completed and uploaded to the site sometime in May.

Site Update:
Finally got it all done. "To Delight in the Inhuman Word" has been completely uploaded. Took me three times as long to do it compared to the last story. Mainly because I found something I didn't like near the end, which I decided to rewrite.
This also takes the title as my longest story, which was held by the previous story. I didn't think I'd top "The Only Thing Necessary" so quickly. Don't expect this to continue, my next story should be back to a more normal length for my episodes...though I thought "The Only Thing Necessary" would be just of average length ("To Delight" I knew would be longer than average). I must be waffling a lot more.

Site Update:
Added the prologue of "To Delight in the Inhuman Word" and will continue to add parts over the next week until it is all up. The story revolves around the ship getting captured by the Dominion and the crew having to regain control.

Put those pictures I took down up. New manips for Letac, Tiki and Whitechapel. Could do with a bit more fine tuning but the basic images are there. Also put back up the title with crew with these new manips replacing the old (also could do with some tweaking.)

Thanks to NaNoWriMo and NaNoFiMo "To Delight in the Inhuman Word" is finished and now needs to be edited. Aiming for that to be done by the end of this month.
